Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt. Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis’ legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, “If Not Me, Then Who…”

1. Character Does Matter

Character Does Matter empowers veterans to serve as community role models, educating youth on character and leadership, by leveraging the strengths and skills afforded by their military training. Through CDM, veterans reconnect with one another and give back to the next generation by participating in the following activities:
• Presentations to schools, youth groups, and athletic teams
• Character and Leadership courses

2. One-on-One Veteran Mentorship Program

A grant enabling Travis Manion Foundation’s work to provide transitioning veterans with opportunities and training to mentor youth and serve their communities.
