    We are investing in new ways for service members to start preparing for their transition before they leave the military. Having a job lined up before you leave the military is one of the best indicators of a smooth transition back into civilian life. This program is designed to help veterans identify careers that fit their experience and develop additional skills, so they may move towards a productive, rewarding and financially stable post-military life.

    We support a number of initiatives that help active duty service members, military spouses, Reservists and National Guard members prepare for and move directly into civilian careers.

    Onward to Opportunity – (O2O), our partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Labor, offers free training, professional certifications, and job placement services on 18 military installations. Other supporters of O2O-VCTP include USAA, Accenture, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Prudential, and the May and Stanley Smith Charitable Trust.

    • Personalize and simplify service access and navigation

    After transition from military service, we also focus on the supports that service members need to navigate services for themselves and their families. The goal is to streamline this process and enable those who have served our country to get the support they need to thrive in the next chapter of their lives.
