Josh is the grants administrator at the Schultz Family Foundation, coordinating the regular distribution of grants, ensuring data integrity and grantee compliance.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Josh brings 20 years of experience in mission-driven organizations specializing in the arts. Locally, he has worked at the School of Drama at the University of Washington, assisting the executive director, the Seattle Repertory Theatre on the operations and artistic staff, and at Village Theatre and ACT Theatre, teaching. Josh was also an artistic associate at the now defunct Capitol Hill Arts Center. In New York, he worked at the Brooklyn Academy of Music as an artist service representative, and at On-Ramps, a recruiting firm that connects leaders to key mission-driven organizations nationally, as an administrative coordinator.
Josh is an award-winning playwright and accomplished screenwriter with a Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic writing from The New School for Drama.
He loves writing, cooking and raising his two kids with his wife.
