Giving Tuesday Marys Place

On #GivingTuesday, we recognize the essential role of nonprofits here in the United States and across the world. Since 2012, Giving Tuesday has inspired millions of people to give to the causes important to them.

All of us at the Schultz Family Foundation are grateful for the organizations that help our neighbors experiencing homelessness, struggling to pay the bills, or simply finding themselves unable to give their children a holiday gift. That’s why we are announcing grants to more than 30 organizations doing incredible work in our region. From supporting after school and job readiness programs for East African immigrants and refugees in Seattle, to gifts, meals and clothing for families across the Northwest, we know these grants will make a difference for our community.

I hope you’ll consider and support the causes, organizations, and people important to you this #GivingTuesday – and know that while #GivingTuesday is just one day, the opportunity to give back to your community is year-round.
