As controller for the Schultz Family Foundation, Cheryl manages the accounting, and data management activities of the Foundation and ensures financial, and grant information is aligned with regulations, best practices, and standards.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Cheryl served as senior finance director for Simplicity Consulting where her focus was GAAP compliance, financial reporting, interpretation of financial data, and partnering with leadership on financial strategy. In her previous position as senior finance director for the Memphis Grizzlies she oversaw the accounting, tax, and audit functions for the franchise and their charitable foundation.
Cheryl is originally from Vancouver, Canada and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and CPA, CGA designation. In her spare time, she enjoys interior design, wine tasting, exploring new cities, and attending concerts.
